Not sure actually because I couldn't do it the other day when I tried again.

Best thing to do is create a Windows XP VM

Not Solved RE: MX not booting!!!!!
If you do not want any hassle (no DD, no creating something and copying etc), and want your DroidTV MX just to work, then just install this unbrick ROM:

Is it a DroidTV MX box with AML8726MX and 1g/8g memory? If so, you can use this below recovery solution to fix your problem.

Make sure your board looks the same !!!

What exactly did you do and what type of box is it?

Not Solved RE: MX not booting!!!!!
its a First Google Android 4.2.1 TV box Amlogic 8726-MX Dual core1.5GHz 1GB RAM 8GB ... with board g0ref and kernel 3.0.50 the build number is JOP40D.20130403e....

I installed the MATRICOM_MX2_115_FULL_AUG_09_2013.rar and extracted it. then I downloaded the http://hddguru.com/software/HDD-Raw-...02Portable.exe. I folowed the steps and get the file on a sd-card.

I unpluged the device and inserted the sd-card to the device. I inserted a toothpick in the av-hole until it said click and hold the toothpick and turned the device on while I am holding the toothpick.

But on the tv its saying ´´no signal´´ so I cannot see anything.

Sad hope u understand me
