You could try UART to check the logs of how far does it get.

P.S. I presume you already tried the re-flash rom procedure, right?

Thank you very much for the Files.
However, I was not able to "unbrick" my CMX Box from Red LED only, so it must be something else wrong with it.
At least we tried...

just keep trying till you get the android loading the boot file remember you must hold the cotton swabs , on the av-port till reboots .

( I use a cotton swab just cut one end and use the stick. same size as the av port)

Not Solved RE: Amlogic 8726mx V1.1 is stuck on red light
I was at it for a day and a half. Left the switch pressed for over 10 minutes at times... nothing was happening.
The Box is not responsive to anything.
Time to box it up and ship it back...
This CMX Box is something else, comparing to other Amlogic boxes that passed through my hands....

Not Solved RE: Amlogic 8726mx V1.1 is stuck on red light
Hi,

I have exactly the same issue as described in this topic.
Red light always on no matter what I do. Reset/booting into recovery does not help.

The only difference is that my PCB is version: Amlogic 8726MX_V1.1 20140410
I didnt find that production date anywhere yet. So its kinda new.

So I decided to reflash the box.
Which FW can I use?
I do not have any idea which fw is installed now (only that is Android 4.2.2). Where can I get appropriate FW for my release?
I was thinking about FW in topic DroidTV MX firmware 2014 May. Is this ok?
Or should I choose any other FW which is among "Important threads" section of Firmware releases for DroidTV MX.

Thanks in advance.
